In order to further boost prospects of Indian athletes at future Olympics, VR Industries, a packaged foods company, founded by Delhi based Golfer Vishal Bakshi has pledged support for promising sportspersons from the eight North-Eastern states of the country. 

Vishal Bakshi along with his longtime friends cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and IPS Robin Hibu (President, Helping Hands) have officially announced the launch of 8AM Sports Diet Scholarship until the Paris Olympics 2024.

The Sports Diet Scholarship will be for 50 youths who wish to pursue sports as their career but face constraints. The Sports Diet Scholarship comprising a nutritious breakfast diet is being sponsored by V.R Industries that has been serving the Armed Forces for the last 30 years by offering its wide range of breakfast cereals. Helping Hands spearheaded by the first IPS officer from Arunachal Pradesh Robin Hibu will be shouldering the responsibility of selecting the 50 most deserving and meritorious candidates and Shikhar Dhawan the star cricketer has been on his front foot to help the needy since the COVID-19 pandemic started, his joining of the cause was only natural.
